Mentoring

As an established jewellery artist whose multi-stranded practice involves concept-led narrative pieces, I’m interested in how other makers and designers think and what’s important to them creatively.

This has led to working with both early career and established professional makers who are either inundated with ideas, or who’ve lost touch with what’s really important to them in a creative or artistic sense.

Together we can decipher what’s really important to you, what’s missing, and how you might get back to those moments that give you a frisson, or goosebumps.

We’ll talk about your work, what motivates you.

We’ll look at favourite themes, recurring thought patterns, shapes or obsessions.

We’ll discern what’s stopping you and work out the steps to get you back on the right path for you.

I enjoy enabling those light-bulb moments that make a creative life worth it.

I currently offer 6 x 2-hour sessions, in-person on the South coast of England, or on Zoom, bookable in blocks of two, and payable in advance per two sessions. You can send me a couple of questions using voice notes in between sessions and I’ll respond accordingly.

I also offer a single 2-hour session in-person on the South coast of England, or on Zoom. You’ll send me a couple of questions and 15–20 images of your work beforehand. I’ll come to our session with thoughts and questions that we’ll discuss over two hours. If appropriate, I’ll follow up with voice notes.
